The Minister of Health, Tomáš Drucker, will participate in the 19th European Health Forum, held in Bad Hofgastein, Austria on 28 September 2016. The head of the Slovak health department will have a high level of discussion with EU Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Vytenis Andriukaitis and representatives of the Presidency Trio of the Council of the EU, which includes Malta and the Netherlands in addition to the Slovak Republic. I am pleased that on this occasion too, we can open issues related to SK PRES, such as the lack of medicines, which is currently being addressed not only by Slovakia but also by other EU Member States. At the same time, we will also pay attention to vaccination, antimicrobial resistance, chronic non-communicable diseases and food reformulation, said T. Drucker in this regard.
The discussions on these topics will continue next week at the informal meeting of EU Health Ministers, which will take place on 3rd October 2016 in Bratislava.
