The online clinic FN Trnava, with the participation of the Minister of Health Kamila Šaška, opened new premises that were renovated, while the premises of the cot and the outpatient part of the clinic were renovated. This is the next stage of extensive renovation of this workplace.
In order to improve health care for our patients, it is crucial to restore health facilities and raise the level of our hospitals. I am therefore very pleased that the facilities of the Oncology Clinic of the Faculty Hospital Trnava have been reconstructed. Medical staff will thus be able to provide healthcare to their patients in a safer and more modern environment. This will give patients high quality health care and at the same time make the environment more attractive to health workers, which will increase their motivation to stay in Slovakia, said Minister of Health Kamil Šaško.
Reconstruction of the bed part of the clinic focused on aesthetic and functional adjustment of the premises, especially the main corridor. Our goal was to create an environment in which patients and visitors will feel more comfortable. New modifications include a more modern design as well as a better illumination of the premises, said the head of the Oncology Clinic FN Trnava Marian Streško.
First of all, I would like to thank the Clinic's head that they are taking the initiative to improve the workplace for patients for whom not only treatment but also the environment in which they are treated is important. said the director of FN Trnava Daniel Žitňan. The second reconstruction took place in the outpatient part of the ONC of the FN Trnava clinic. This was a complex reconstruction of the infusion hall, where patients are treated with chemotherapy, biological therapy as well as therapy with other modern medicines. The result of the reconstruction is to increase the safety of the treatment and increase the comfort of patients. A new monitoring room has also been established at the workplace where staff can follow patients receiving treatment directly from the table. The room also performs a safety task as the staff separates from cystostatic treatment, i.e. from carcinogenic substances, said Daniela Mika Bax, the leading sister.
