The Minister for Health does not understand the position of representatives of the Medical Trade Union Association (LOZ) who refuse to negotiate openly and constructively. Yesterday, the Chairman of the LOZ publicly invited the Minister of Health to negotiate. The Minister immediately accepted this call and called for a discussion of the sector tripartite today, which is a platform for dealing with health problems involving representatives of public and non-state hospitals, the outpatient sector and, in addition to LOP, the largest trade union of health workers. Nevertheless, they announced that they wanted to negotiate in a narrower format.
I really don't understand why the LOC is doing everything possible to ensure that the agreement is not achieved. I call on them again for a constructive debate and a common search for solutions. The Slovak patient must take precedence over all interests and unnecessary conflicts that are not necessary. On the basis of yesterday's words by Mr Visolaiski that wages for doctors are not a problem, I appeal to all health professionals not to leave their patients, and to contribute together through the negotiations to the establishment of constructive dialogue and agreement, and Minister Shaško said. The Ministry of Health remains ready to discuss and resolve the situation in favour of the Slovak patient and health system. We once again call on the LOP to take part in an important sectoral tripartite process, which is a long-term platform, particularly in the field of social dialogue. Subsequently, on the same day, the minister is ready immediately after the tripartite end to meet in a narrower format only with the LOZ management and believes that we will find a compromise agreement at this meeting.
