During the unique event -MediFutura: Your future is in Slovakia --We are one team-- which today, April 23, 2026, takes place at the Incheba EXPO Exhibition Centre in Bratislava, the Slovak Health Minister Kamila Šaška took over the award of 14 exceptional students and students of health disciplines nominated by the schools themselves.
Among the laureates is a high school student who deals with 3D aids as part of the ergotherapy of patients after stroke, a college student teaching children in the field of oral hygiene and prevention of dental caries or high school students, who is active in teaching first aid for primary school pupils - from the right call to the treatment of injured or resuscitation, or a future nurse focused on the issue of work motivation and fluctuation of nurses in the Slovak Republic.
These future health professionals are linked by purposefulness, excellent learning outcomes, a high level of responsibility and a professional approach to both study and practical teaching. For their classmates, they are an incentive and a role model, and this is also the message of the MediFutura event, and send a signal to young people to look for their future in Slovakia and to perceive the strength and uniqueness of the health profession as a lifelong mission.
We have missed the bridge between education and practice, and we have a serious ambition for MediFutura to become this bridge between these worlds. The future of Slovak health - it is you, students and students, you are MediFutura and your future is in Slovakia," said Minister of Health Kamil Šaško.
