In a few days, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, the first ever year of the MediFutura event will take place in Bratislava's Incheba - Your future is in Slovakia. The aim of the action under the auspices of the Minister of Health Kamil Šaška is to show doctors the opportunities offered by Slovak health and to send a clear signal that we care about staying in Slovakia to save lives and care for patients.
–Our health is facing a generation shift. We want someone to care for our children, our parents, and someone to treat us. So it is our job to create conditions for future doctors and to give them confidence that their work at home has a future. With the event of MediFutura we want to show the doctors that we stand by them, that Slovakiacalculates and builds a system where it pays to stay, says Minister of Health Kamil Šaško about the event, which for the first time in history connects under one roof all medical faculties in Slovakia.
The event MediFutura as a fair of opportunity opens the door to medical faculty students directly to hospitals, medical facilities, ambulances or institutions that need them. Through stands, lectures, panel, as well as personal discussions or medicathons, future doctors will get:

–The doctors are close to me. I'm almost the only doctor in the family. One of my first steps in the position of minister was the decision to prepare a human resources strategy for at least fifteen years in advance, because our health is standing on people. We are also building new hospitals for them, restoring and modernising hospital departments and supporting the financing of new offices. Closed by Minister Shaško. Further information on the forthcoming human resources strategy in the health sector will be provided at the MediFutura event.
