At the health department today, the main health officer of the Slovak Republic Ján Mikas, representatives of the Department of International Relations and Affairs of the EU MZ SR and chargé dûaffaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China Wang Ji met. They were informed of the measures taken by the People's Republic of China to prevent the spread of a new type of coronavirus. Both parties have agreed to exchange information on the coronavirus, about the citizens of Slovakia located in China, or about Chinese citizens who are currently there and have a temporary stay in our country, do business here or study. The Chinese side assured us that such citizens are in 14-day quarantine and may leave the country unless they get any symptoms of the virus. The Embassy of the People's Republic of China will also inform our Ministry about any citizen of Slovakia who shows signs of coronavirus.
