Vaccination against HPV virus is an effective remedy for cervical cancer and other cancers, especially in children between 12 and 13 years of age. Since May this year, vaccination of this age group is a modern and effective 9-valent vaccine in the Slovak Republic. The Bratislava Self-Governing Region, in cooperation with patient organizations NO RAKOVINE and Liga against cancer, prepared on Friday, 9 September 2022 the second Day of vaccination against HPV virus, which will be re-supported in the form of the cover of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Society of Primary Paediatric Care SLS. Vaccination will take place in the health resort Rovniankova 1 (mirror grove) in Bratislava.
