In Slovakia, 1 978 positive test subjects were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 1,623 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 18.59% of the 10,643 RT-PCR examinations completed and 1.2% of the 134,792 antigen tests.
The total number of persons vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 377 707, 3 908 were vaccinated the previous day. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 201 276 people, with 6 030 people vaccinated the past day.
In hospitals, 3898 patients are hospitalized, of whom 3 673 have confirmed disease. ICU has 311 patients, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 363 people.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 98 cases. The total number of deaths per Covid is 8,244 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 1,632.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Trenčín region (402), followed by Žilina region (368), Prešovský (325), Banská Bystrica (260), Trnavský (242), Bratislava (164), Košický (121) and Nitriansky (96). There are 987 men and 991 women among them. The total number of infected men is 157 738 and of women 173 833.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 2 164 779, with 331 571 subjects tested positive. Total number carried out Ag tests so far are 16,604 421, of which 312,032 were tested positive. The total number of inactive cases is 478 739. These are individuals who have experienced COVID-19 disease, either with a clinical picture or without symptoms, and have passed a positive test for 2 to 4 weeks in outpatient patients and 6 weeks in hospital patients. All the countries of the world have gone through huge numbers of positive cases and sick people to report inactive cases, as it is not really possible to detect the persistence of health problems in such a number of disabled people.
