In Slovakia, in the past day, 19 075 people were added with a positive PCR test. As for antigen testing, 2,360 positive. 33 688 RT-PCR tests and 20 687 antigen tests were completed yesterday. The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in the Bratislava region (2 951), followed by Košický (2 649), Žilinský (2 419), Nitriansky (2 323), Prešovský (2 294), Banskobystrický (2 195), Trnavský (2 171) and Trenčiansky (2 073). Of the sequenced samples in the last week, the micron variant is 95,4 percent represented. In hospitals, 2701 patients are hospitalized and confirmed with COVID-19. Of those hospitalised, 71.08 percent are not vaccinated or only partially vaccinated. In the JIS and OAIM departments there are 254 patients, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 94 people. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 35 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 18, 314 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 3,368.
