In Slovakia, 12 066 people were added to the past day with a positive PCR test. As for antigen testing, 1,560 positive. 20 595 RT-PCR tests and 12 272 antigen tests were completed yesterday. The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in the Bratislava region (1 723), followed by Žilinský (1 713), Košický (1 545), Trenčiansky (1 515), Prešovský (1 477), Nitriansky (1 452), Banskobystrický (1 370) and Trnavský (1 271). In hospitals, 2,454 patients are hospitalized and COVID-19 is a confirmed disease. Of those hospitalised, 71.03 percent are not vaccinated or only partially vaccinated. There are 215 patients in the ICU and OAIM departments, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 77 people. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 31 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 18,817, and the total number of deaths with Covid is 3,535. A third dose of vaccine was given yesterday to 868 subjects (1 627 210 in total), with a second dose of vaccine vaccinated to 967 people (2 755 796), with a first dose vaccinated to 168 subjects yesterday (2 818 127 in total).
