In Slovakia, in the past day, 11 029 people were added with a positive PCR test. As for antigen testing, 1,631 positive. Yesterday, 19,118 RT-PCR tests and 14,214 antigenic tests were completed. The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Banská Bystrica region (1 766), followed by Bratislava (1 599), Trnavský (1 513), Nitriansky (1 405), Trenčiansky (1 346), Žilinský (1 240), Košický (1 111) and Prešovský (1 049).
In hospitals, 2,554 patients are hospitalized and confirmed COVID-19 disease. Of those hospitalised, 70.56% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. In the ICU and OAIM departments there are 228 patients, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 85 people. The number of confirmed victims for pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 20 people. The total number of deaths per Covid is 18,631 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 3,480.
A third dose of vaccine was received yesterday by 816 subjects (total of 1,623,732), with a second dose of vaccine vaccinated by 2,384 (total of 2,751,418), with a first dose of 135 (total of 2,817,673) yesterday. More information on www.korona.gov.sk.
