The number of hospitalised patients with COVID-19 disease decreases, as does the number of new cases of infection. The Slovak Ministry of Health therefore regulates the regime in hospitals, but also the method of testing and conditions for access to health facilities.
Disrupting reprofiled beds
- There will be at least one isolation room for patients with COVID-19 disease in each department or clinic where the primary diagnosis is a different disease.
- Patients with primary COVID-19 disease will be hospitalized in infectious and pulmonary departments or clinics.
- Patients currently hospitalized on reprofiled beds will be placed on reprofiled beds until hospitalization is completed.
Testing of PCR, LAMP, PoCT
- Free testing will only be possible for people over 60 years of age, for younger people only on the basis of doctor's indication (the indication can be personally, by phone).
- Self-payers will be able to apply to individual companies providing testing services.
