The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic has banned the export of medicines, medical devices and diagnostic medical devices abroad in connection with COVID-19 (coronavirus). In Slovakia there is thus a stop of exporting these items abroad. With this measure, we want to ensure that patients in Slovakia have access to medicines and medical devices, thus avoiding the potential risk of lack of them, explained Minister for Health of the SR Marek Krajčí. The prohibition shall not apply to holders of authorisation to manufacture medicinal products produced in Slovakia for another country for existing orders.
