State Secretary of the Ministry of Health Peter Stachura met with the directors of the University Hospital L. Pasteur Košice and the Faculty Hospital with the Polyclinic J.A.Reiman. They discussed the current issues concerning the reprofilation of beds in relation to the spread of COVID-19. The State Secretary has personally proven how important hospitals in eastern Slovakia manage all activities related to COVID-19. Both medical facilities declared readiness to receive and treat patients with COVID-19. They also confirmed that they have enough personal protective equipment. The information obtained from the field is crucial in taking further decisions, stressed Peter Stachura.
