The mobile vaccination team vaccinated over 200 employees of the coniferous wood processing company in Tomášovce. The employees' families and the company's suppliers could also be vaccinated. The action was personally supported by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic Samuel Vlčan together with the Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský.
They both appreciated the management and staff of the woodworking company, who through mass vaccination decided to increase collective immunity in the fight against coronavirus mutations.
I appreciate the employees and relatives of this company, which, with their responsible attitude, has added to the vaccination against Covida 19. I believe that they will also help us to better manage other virus mutations and to put an end to the exhausting pandemic for good. I would also like to call on other companies and operations not only from our department to participate. Woodworking company PRP, s.r.o. from Tomášovec in Lučenec district plans a second round of vaccination. As a prerequisite, a sufficient number of employees and their relatives will be reported. They also invited their suppliers to take part in the vaccination because of their personal contact with them. The aim of management is to vaccinate more than 90% of employees. Vaccination was provided by simple application via the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic. The vaccination in companies helps us increase the number of people vaccinated in Slovakia, it is already vaccinated in more than 30 companies throughout the country, with almost 3500 people vaccinated in this form. I thank employers for their proactive action and invite other companies to the vaccination. Together we will protect not only your employees but also their people around them.
