In Slovakia, 4 958 people with positive PCR test added over the past day, of which almost 67% were not vaccinated. As regards antigen testing, 2 560 positive, over 70% of these have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday, 19 537 RT-PCR and 34 325 antigenic tests were completed.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (1 068), followed by Žilina region (781), Košický (701), Bratislava (579), Banskobystrický (519), Trenčiansky (489), Nitriansky (464) and Trnavský (357). There are 2,300 men and 2,658 women. The total number of positive men tested is 250 601 and women 276 007.In hospitals, 2 405 patients are hospitalized, all of whom have confirmed disease. Of those hospitalized, 80.56% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. 229 patients are in ICU, 214 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 45 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13 314 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,556. The total number of persons vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2,523 310 in the previous day plus 1 690 vaccinations. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 316 554 people, with 1,053 people vaccinated the past day. The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 4 105 976, with 526 608 tested positive.
