The epidemiological situation in Slovakia is expected to worsen, the number of infected patients COVID-19 is increasing, as is the number of hospital patients hospitalized. Compliance and control is therefore a priority. The Ministry of Health stresses that the control of COVID-passes and the data therein is legitimate, not medical documentation. The operations by controlling the digital Covid passes do not violate the law, may require visitors to obtain proof of vaccination, to overcome COVID-19 disease or test result. We are in a serious epidemiological situation, so monitoring compliance with the measures is not an attempt to limit people's efforts, but rather to protect public health. stated Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský. The Covid pass contains only a limited set of necessary information. Only the validity and authenticity of the licence shall be checked for verification. The nine-digit alphanumeric code is automatically generated and assigned to the citizen by the system, which also implies that it is not part of the medical documentation.Why Covid pass is not medical documentationThe health documentation shall be a set of data on the health status of the person, on health care and on the services related to the provision of healthcare to that person, maintained as a whole by the general practitioner or by another treating healthcare professional, within the scope of the healthcare provided by him. The medical documentation shall be kept in an electronic health book in the national health information system or under the conditions laid down by Law No 576/2004 Coll. in writing with the healthcare provider. The medical documentation data shall be provided in the form of an extract from the medical documentation or made available by means of a consultation of the medical documentation of a person by a statutory body. However, it no longer considers as medical documentation extracts from medical documentation or extracts or copies of medical documentation which the person entitled to inspect the medical documentation has the right to do. Similarly, the medical documentation cannot be considered to include various attestations containing health data, such as a medical examination certificate showing the medical fitness of the candidate for a driving licence. If we accept that this confirmation is (similar to confirmation of completion of vaccination against COVID-19 disease, confirmation of COVID-19 disease or
