In Slovakia, there have been 3 015 people with a positive PCR test in the past day, of which almost 67% have not been vaccinated. As far as antigen testing is concerned, more than 67 percent of these have not been vaccinated. Yesterday, 8,986 RT-PCR and 16,103 antigenic tests were completed.The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Košice region (691), followed by Banská Bystrica (460), Prešovský (421), Trenčiansky (405), Bratislava (363), Žilinský (304), Nitriansky (209) and Trnavský (162). Among them are 1 411 men and 1,604 women. The total number of positive men tested is 248 301 and of women 273 349.In hospitals, 2,108 patients are hospitalized, all of whom have confirmed disease. Of those hospitalized, 80.42% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 174 patients in the ICU, 188 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 40 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13 269 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,551. The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2,521 446 in the previous day plus 1,588 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 315 494 people, with 291 people vaccinated the past day. The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 4,086 439 and 521 650 was tested positive.
