In Slovakia, 5 338 people were added to the last day with a positive PCR test, of which almost 68% were not vaccinated. As regards antigen testing, 958 positive, over 69% have not yet been vaccinated. 16,826 RT-PCR tests and 10,941 antigenic tests were completed yesterday.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (1 389), followed by Košice region (996), Žilinský (741), Trenčiansky (542), Bratislava (538), Banská Bystrica (505), Trnava (391) and Nitriansky (236). There are 2,570 men and 2,768 women. The total number of positive men tested is 246 890 and the women 271 745. Of those hospitalized, 80.35% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. On the ICU there are 183 patients, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 185 people. The number of confirmed victims for pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 24 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13 229 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,551. The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first vaccine dose is 2,519 511 in the previous day plus 877 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 314 789 people, with 392 people vaccinated the last day. The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 4,077 453 with 518 635 tested positive.
