In Slovakia, 6 502 people were added to the last day with a positive PCR test, of which almost 68% were not vaccinated. As far as antigen testing is concerned, 1,566 positive, of which 71% have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday 21 305 RT-PCR and 25 356 antigenic tests were completed.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (1 080), followed by Žilina region (1 064), Košický (1 028), Banská Bystrica region (997), Bratislava region (801), Trenčiansky (677), Trnavský (448) and Nitriansky (407). There are 3 084 men and 3 418 women. The total number of positive men tested is 244 320 and women 268 977.In hospitals, 2,051 patients are hospitalized, all of which have confirmed disease. Of those hospitalized, 80.26 percent are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. 177 patients are in ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 183 people. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 39 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13 205 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,551. The total number of persons vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 2,518 603 in the previous day. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 314 372 people, with 2,532 people vaccinated the last day. The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed to date is 4,060 627 and 513 297 tested positive.
