In Slovakia, 6 713 people were added to the last day with a positive PCR test, of which almost 67% were not vaccinated. As regards antigen testing, 1,489 positive, over 71% of these have not been vaccinated. Yesterday, 21,755 RT-PCR and 26,900 antigenic tests were completed.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (1 326), followed by Žilina region (1 106), Košický (1 051), Banskobystrický (976), Bratislava (690), Trenčiansky (619), Nitriansky (525) and Trnavský (420). There are 3 171 men and 3 542 women. The total number of positive men tested is 238 081 and women 261 909.In hospitals, 1,890 patients are hospitalized, all of which have confirmed disease. Of those hospitalized, 79.38 percent are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 148 patients in the ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 179 people. The number of confirmed victims for pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 34 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13 146 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,539. The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2 513 527 in the previous day plus 1 317 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2,310 101 people, with 1,311 people vaccinated the past day.
