In Slovakia, 6 315 positive test subjects were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 5 954 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 28.73% of the 21,978 RT-PCR examinations completed and 7.94% of the 74,670 antigen tests carried out yesterday.
The most positive test was in the Nitra region (1094), followed by Žilina region (1038), Trenčiansky (836), Trnavský (785), Prešovský (729), Bratislava (650), Banskobystrický (593) and Košický (590). There are 3 006 men and 3 309 women among them.
In hospitals, 2,945 patients are hospitalized, 2,659 of whom have confirmed disease. There are 196 patients on ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 220 people.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 73 cases. The total number of deaths per Covid is 2 138 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 531.
A total of 1,544 patients were cured, 125 971 people recovered from the disease.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed to date is 1 429 007 with 179 543 subjects tested positive. Total number carried out Ag tests so far are 1 702 679, of which 96 475 were tested positive.
