In Slovakia, there have been 4,036 people with a positive PCR test in the past day, of whom more than 68% have not been vaccinated. As regards antigen testing, 691 positive, more than 73% have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday 14 382 RT-PCR tests and 10 179 antigen tests were completed.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (1 148), followed by Košice region (641), Žilinský (571), Banská Bystrica region (449), Bratislava region (429), Trenčiansky (345), Trnavský (251) and Nitriansky (202). Among them are 1 905 men and 2 131 women. The total number of positive males tested is 230 447 and of females 253 326.
In hospitals, 1,405 patients are hospitalized, all of which have confirmed disease. Of those hospitalized, 79.38 percent are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. 136 patients are ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 136 people.
The number of confirmed victims for pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 16 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13,034 and the total number of deaths "with Covid" is 2,529.
The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2,500 386 in the previous day plus 379 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 305 773 people, 378 people have been vaccinated on the last day.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 3,961 533 with 483,773 tested positive. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 39 112 381 of which 414 422 were tested positive.
The total number of inactive cases is 747 958. These are individuals who have experienced COVID-19 disease, either with a clinical picture or without symptoms, and have passed a positive test for 2 to 4 weeks in outpatient patients and 6 weeks in hospital patients.
