There were 2,573 positive test subjects in Slovakia on Friday, 18,074. The number of deaths from pulmonary disease COVID-19 is 219.
The most positive cases were added in Prešov region (552), followed by Žilina region (529), Košický (379), Trenčiansky (299), Banskobystrický (254), Nitriansky (204), Trnavský (198) and Bratislava (158). Among them are 1 322 women and 1 251 men, aged between a few months and 90. In hospitals, 1,399 patients are hospitalized, confirmed COVID-19 has 1,241 of them. There are 113 people on ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 96 patients. A further 109 subjects were cured, a total of 12,617 patients had recovered. The total number of positive people tested in our country so far is 57,664, 769,818 laboratory tests have been performed since the onset of the disease. The number of active cases is 44 828.
