The Ministry of Health appreciates the work of paramedics. We realise that they are the ones who are doing very important work in the pre-hospital care in the fight against a pandemic and we thank them for that. After the employees of the hospital department, we decided to reward their work with a total value of two million euros per month. Doctors, paramedics, and ambulance drivers will be rewarded. The monthly surcharge for a member of the emergency medical crew will be felt on the paycheck, in the net value of EUR 350, which will be seen in the next paycheck. The supplement will be paid for the period from 1 March until the time when the number of hospitalised patients with COVID-19 disease will not fall below 1000 patients.
