In Slovakia, there have been 1,459 people with positive PCR test in the past day, of whom more than 73% have not been vaccinated. As regards antigen testing, more than 77% of these have been added to 278 positive, and have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday, 11 698 RT-PCR and 18 234 antigenic tests were completed.
The total number of persons vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2 445 528 in the previous day plus 1 890 vaccinations. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2,250,619 people, with 1,700 people vaccinated the past day.The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (312), followed by Košice region (103), Žilinský (272), Bratislava (144), Trnavský (135), Banská Bystric (112), Trenčiansky (95) and Nitriansky (86). There are 660 men and 799 women among them. The total number of positive males tested is 196 233 and of females 214 847.
In hospitals, 531 patients are hospitalized, 463 people have confirmed disease. Of those hospitalised, 84,54% of people are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 64 patients for ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 55 people.
The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 14 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 12,620 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,462.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed to date is 3,584 842 with 411 080 subjects tested positive. Total number carried out Ag tests so far are 38 293 427 of which 391 326 have been tested positive.
The total number of inactive cases is 724 414. These are individuals who have experienced COVID-19 disease, either with a clinical picture or without symptoms, and have passed a positive test for 2 to 4 weeks in outpatient patients and 6 weeks in hospital patients.
