In Slovakia there have been 4 587 people with positive PCR test in the past day, of whom more than 71 percent have not been vaccinated. As far as antigen testing is concerned, 957 positives were added, of which more than 70% have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday 17 338 RT-PCR and 22 101 antigenic tests were completed.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (960), followed by Košice region (823), Banskobystrický (744), Žilina region (639), Trenčiansky (429), Bratislava region (372), Trnavský (339) and Nitriansky (281). There are 2 161 men and 2 426 women. The total number of positive males tested is 226 087 and females 248 508.
In hospitals, 1,421 patients are hospitalized; the confirmed disease has 1,151 people. Of those hospitalized, 79.38 percent are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. 129 patients are in ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 136 people.
The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 23 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13 000 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,521.
The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 2,497 287 in the previous day plus 1,695 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 302 087 people, with 1,635 people vaccinated the last day.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 3,929,513 and 474,595. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 39 068 731 of which 411 901 were tested positive.
The total number of inactive cases is 747 958. These are individuals who have experienced COVID-19 disease, either with a clinical picture or without symptoms, and have passed a positive test for 2 to 4 weeks in outpatient patients and 6 weeks in hospital patients.
