The situation regarding COVID-19 is under control in Slovakia, the regional public health authorities are active in the region, the outbreaks are captured. The Minister of Health recommends this year to holiday in Slovakia.
Community spread of the disease is not yet considered in Slovakia. Regional public health authorities control the situation, fireplaces are seized and contacts are actively supervised. New cases that appear have been imported by people from abroad and subsequently their contacts. Hygiene workers are active in the regions. In recent days, Čadca has had more cases than other areas, the measures in the region have been set up, both by regional health professionals and by the city and local authorities, quickly and forcefully, bringing the situation in the region under immediate control.
Minister of Health of the Slovak Republic Marek Krajčí recommends that people from this region wear drapes even in the exterior. The head of the health department does not recommend meeting seniors and risk groups without a drapes. It recommends that their visits be limited to the time necessary.
