The epidemiological situation in Slovakia does not change in terms of the colour of the regions, all districts remain green. Of the positive subjects tested for COVID-19 disease in the last two weeks, 76 percent were unvaccinated against coronavirus. This suggests that the third wave of the epidemic will focus on the unvaccinated.
Vaccination varies between regions. At least the 1st dose of the vaccine is between 26 and 59 percent of people in Slovakia who have been fully vaccinated with both doses of vaccine in our country from 23 to 54 percent of people in terms of optics per region.
What is true in green districts (source: ÚVZ SR): - when entering wedding receptions, curies, parties and similar events in public catering establishments, it is necessary to have a negative result of a RT-PCR/LAMP test not older than 72 hours or an antigen test not older than 24 hours, - when standing at such events, filling up to 50 per cent of the capacity of the space. In the interior there can be a maximum of 500 people, in the exterior maximum 1000 people. When sitting, the space can be filled up to 75 percent capacity. In the interior there can be a maximum of 500 people, in the exterior of a maximum of 1000 people, - in the interiors of stores continue to be prohibited from eating food and drinks. However, this does not apply to public catering establishments in department stores,- for entry into internal services of aquaparks plants requires a negative antigen test not older than 24 hours, RT-PCR/LAMP not older than 72 hours. Children under 12 do not need it. Occupancy can be up to 50 percent of the capacity of the sector or maximum number of customers 1000,- in fitness centres can be up to 50 customers or one customer per 15 square meters,- for theater, film, music or other artistic performances in green districts it applies that in the interior there can be no more than 500 people and in the exterior up to 1000 people.

The production number in Slovakia has been above its critical value for the third week in a row. We can therefore openly conclude that the third epidemic wave has already begun in Slovakia. This epidemic wave is characterized by the new Delta variant, which was first detected in India and which is more infectious than the previous variants. Every single person gets to meet him.
Various epidemiological studies confirm that the most effective form of protection against Delta variant is vaccination. However, it is critically important not to miss the second dose. So the window of opportunity is gradually closing, and now is the last chance to get a full vaccination before the third wave can reach high numbers.
Any person not vaccinated automatically chooses to infect the virus. It chooses such a dangerous option, the consequences of which can be long-term health complications, but also death.
In contrast, vaccination is highly safe and highly effective. Let us choose life and do not risk our own health and the health of our loved ones. By vaccination we protect ourselves and at the same time contribute to collective immunity - so we protect the whole of Slovakia.
In Slovakia there are more unvaccinated persons than vaccinated persons. At the same time, we have significant regional differences. For example, Bratislava has fully vaccinated up to 70% of its population in the age group over 50. Next Danube Wednesday, Pezinok, Senec and Trnava.
While the highly vaccinated regions will pass through the third wave without their citizens feeling it, in the low-vaccinated regions, our closest ones will find themselves in hospital and not all COVID-19 disease can survive. The time for vaccination is now!
