Epidemiologicals and leading experts at the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic discussed with Prime Minister Ior Matovič and Minister of Health Marek Krajčí about current measures regarding COVID-19 in Slovakia. The statistics of newly infected COVID-19 are very good these last days, but Slovaks have to persevere in measures so that the second wave of infection does not come. The Minister of Health said that one of the most important measures that is helping our country significantly in the fight against the new coronavirus is wearing a mask. We should therefore continue to wear them responsibly. The head of the health department also stated that the results of tests from social services homes have been negative so far. On Monday and started flat testing, for example in Martin, where a positive result has not yet been confirmed, it is also tested in Bratislava. Leading Slovak experts believe that low daily increases infected are also the result of hard measures during Easter and their public compliance.
