In Slovakia, in the past day, 2 850 people were added with a positive PCR test, of which more than 68% were not vaccinated. As far as antigen testing is concerned, almost 73% of these have not yet been vaccinated. 15,341 RT-PCR tests and 28,932 antigenic tests were completed yesterday. The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (673), followed by Žilina region (649), Bratislava region (379), Banská Bystrica (376), Košický (268), Trenčiansky (192) and Trnavský (142). There are 1 348 men and 1 502 women. The total number of positive men tested is 219 359 and of women 240 922.In hospitals, 1,302 patients are hospitalized, while the confirmed disease has 1,223 people. Of those hospitalized, 79.03 percent are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 116 patients for ICU, 129 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 18 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 12,935, and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,516. The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2 490 134 in the previous day plus 1,512 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 296 893 people, while 1763 people have been vaccinated on the past day. The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 3,874 010 with 460 281 tested positive. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 38 973 553 of which 407 862 were tested positive. The total number of inactive cases is 739 698. These are individuals who have experienced COVID-19 disease, either with a clinical picture or without symptoms, and have passed a positive test for 2 to 4 weeks in outpatient patients and 6 weeks in hospital patients.
