In Slovakia, the number of positive test subjects increased by another 552, 6483 tests were carried out on Friday. The number of COVID-19-related deaths confirmed is 44. A further 62 subjects were cured, a total of 4098 patients had recovered. Active cases of disease are currently 4458 in Slovakia.
The positive test result was positive for people in the districts: Bratislava (80), Prievidza (46), Nové Zámky (40), Tvrdošín (30), Košice (24), Nitra (21), Bardejov (20), Komárno (19), Námestovo (18), Trnava (17), Sobrance (16), Spišská Nová Ves (15), Stará Ľubovňa (14), Poprad (12), Kežmarok (9), Prešov (9), Trenčín (9), Liptovský Mikuláš (8), Senec (8), Snina (8), Dolný Kubín (7), Svidník (7), Žiar nad Hronom (7), Banská Bystrica (6), Malacky (6), Michalovce (6), Topoľčany (6), Nové Mesto nad Váhom (5), Stropkov (5). Four cases were in the districts of Galanta, Partizánske, Great Krtíš, after three cases in the districts of Banská Štiavnica, Dunajská Streda, Hlohovec, Humenné, Ilava, Košice and surroundings, Martin, Pezinok, Rožňava, Trebišov. After two cases, the districts of Bánovce had Bebravou, Brezno, Čadca, Gelnica, Levice, Levoča, Piešťany, Púchov, Revúca, Skalica, Šaľa, Zvolen, one case was recorded by the districts Detva, Krupina, Kysucké Nové Mesto, Lučenec, Medzilaborce, Myjava, Sabinov, Senica. There are 290 women and 262 men, between the ages of a few months and 90.
In hospitals, 185 patients are hospitalized, confirmed COVID-19 has 157 of them. There's 16 people on the ICU, 14 patients need artificial lung ventilation support. The total number of positive people tested in our country is 8600 so far, and since the onset of the disease, there have been 440 331 laboratory tests.
