Vaccination of teachers in Slovakia continues. Age category up to 55 years is vaccinated with AstraZeneca. The new study confirms the high efficacy of this vaccine after the first dose. However, it is characterised by a more pronounced immune response of the body after its application. From a medical point of view, this is a sign that the organism responded to the vaccine and triggered an immune response. Teachers, teachers and other teaching staff may register for vaccination by means of a form found on the website of the department of education https://www.minedu.sk/vacation-of-staff-school-and-school-equipment. Teachers up to 55 years old are vaccinated with AstraZeneca. It was this vaccine that got a worse reputation than the other two applied to us. A new study by Edinburgh University and the Scottish Public Health Office shows that the number of people who needed four weeks after vaccination with the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine decreased by 94 percent. Vaccine from society AstraZeneca has also overcome the vaccine by Pfizer, where the decrease in hospitalisation was 85% after the first dose. However, the truth is that AstraZeneca can induce a more pronounced immune response in vaccinees. More reports of side effects are also recorded by the State Institute for Drug Control. While there were only 17 reports with Moderna at 20,947 doses, there were 536 reports with AstraZeneca at 33,446. 965 out of 365,182 vaccines have been reported with Pfizer. The most commonly reported side effects are increased temperature, headache, feeling unwell or pain at the injection site, which disappears after 1-2 days. These side effects are a sign that the vaccine works and should not be feared. It is recommended to take any of the off-the-counter medicines (e.g. ibuprofen, paracetamol, acetylsalicylic acid) to reduce temperature or relieve pain. After vaccination, a rest period, physical activity avoidance and adequate alcohol-free fluid intake are recommended. Any allergic reaction usually occurs shortly after administration of the vaccine, therefore it is necessary to remain in the healthcare facility for approximately 15 minutes after each vaccination. The vaccine is intended to induce an immune response and prepare the human body to defend against the infection caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Side effects of which are

From a medical point of view, they are a sign to us that the organism has responded to the vaccine and triggered an immune response. Each medicine or vaccine also has its side effects, which may not affect everyone. COVID-19 vaccines have similar side effects to other registered vaccines. The reported suspected side effects in Slovakia and the EU are consistent with the information provided in the package leaflet and do not call into question the safety of the vaccine.
