From 30 August, according to the Covid automator, a total of 14 districts will be orange - at the level of alertness. Other districts remain green - in the monitoring stage. The division of districts according to the current risk of Covid Slot approved by the government.
In the last seven days, on average in Slovakia, 115 cases have been added. There are currently eight districts with over 50% vaccination rate for their inhabitants. "The number of unvaccinated people over 50 years of age is also falling. There are increasing districts approaching the 65-percent vaccination threshold for this age group, allowing them to move to a milder level according to the COVID slot," evaluated Misik. At least the first dose of vaccine was 30 to 61 percent of the population across the county. Full vaccination within the region is 26 to 58 percent.
