In Slovakia, 3042 positive people tested for COVID-19, 16 048 tests were performed. The most positive test was in Žilina region (803), followed by Prešov region (719), Trenčiansky (395), Banskobystrický (315), Košický (313), Bratislava (170), Nitriansky (169) and Trnava region (158). 1621 women and 1421 men were tested positive.
In Slovak hospitals, 1041 patients with or suspected of COVID-19 are hospitalized, 891 of whom have confirmed disease. There are 82 patients for ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 76 people.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 disease is unchanged - 159 deaths from this disease.
Another 40 patients were cured, together with COVID-19 disease, overcame 9960 people.
