On Tuesday there were 18 people with positive results for COVID-19. A total of 1257 tests for a new coronavirus were performed on the last day. Patients with positive results in yesterday's day come from districts Čadca (7 people), Brezno (3), Košice (2), Revúca (2), Žilina (1), Liptovský Mikuláš (1), Spišská Nová Ves (1), Banská Bystrica (1).
On Tuesday, 10 men and 8 women aged 7 to 61 were positive for the new coronavirus. There are currently 19 people in the hospital, 3 of whom have confirmed coronavirus and others with suspicion. There's 1 patient on the ICU, no one on the artificial lung ventilation, said Minister of Health of the SR Marek Krajčí. –In the case of positive individuals for COVID-19 disease, all necessary anti-epidemic measures are provided to effectively prevent the spread of the disease. Regional public health authorities are looking for direct contacts of the infected, they are then tested for coronavirus, and close contacts require local isolation, and we have control of the situation, said Head of the Health Department Marek Krajčí.
