In Slovakia, 231 positive test subjects were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 55 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 13.02 percent of the 1,773 positive RT-PCR examinations completed and 2.97% of the 1 850 antigen tests performed.
Most tested positive PCR tests were in Košice region (57), followed by Prešov region (46), Banskobystrický (38), Bratislava (36), Trenčiansky (26), Žilinský (11), Trnavský (10) and Nitriansky (7). Among them are 108 men and 123 women.
In hospitals, 1,756 patients are hospitalized, of which 1,508 have confirmed disease. There are 101 patients on ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 117 people.
The number of confirmed deaths on the lung form of COVID-19 increased by 22 cases, combined with 693.
An additional 2,050 patients were cured, with a total of 47 933 people recovering from the disease.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 1,017 802, with 96 472 subjects tested positive.
