In Slovakia, 677 positive test subjects were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 574 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 9.96% of the 6796 RT-PCR examinations completed and 0,45% of the 128 958 antigen tests.
The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 987 555, 6 301 were vaccinated the previous day. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 382 953 people; 12 818 people have been vaccinated on the past day.
In hospitals, 1,731 patients are hospitalized, 1,603 of whom have confirmed disease. There are 153 patients on the ICU, 234 people need artificial lung ventilation support.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 53 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 11 357 and the total number of deaths "with Covid" is 2 175.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (144), followed by Žilina region (118), Košický (114), Trenčiansky (79), Banskobystrický (76), Trnavský (60), Bratislava (48) and Nitriansky (38). There are 317 men and 360 women. The total number of infected men is 180 433 and 197 717 women.

The total number of inactive cases is 648 717. These are individuals who have experienced COVID-19 disease, either with a clinical picture or without symptoms, and have passed a positive test for 2 to 4 weeks in outpatient patients and 6 weeks in hospital patients. All the countries of the world have gone through huge numbers of positive cases and sick people to report inactive cases, as it is not really possible to detect the persistence of health problems in such a number of disabled people.
