In Slovakia, 649 positive test subjects were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 2 384 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 21.22 percent of the 3,059 RT-PCR examinations completed and 1.04% of the 228 403 antigen tests.
The total number of subjects vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 272 341, and 4 564 were vaccinated the previous day. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 95,291 people.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in the Bratislava region (185), followed by the Košice region region (170), Banskobystrický (68), Prešovský (66), Trenčiansky (64), Trnavský (38), Žilinský (36) and Nitriansky (22). There are 322 men and 327 women among them. The total number of infected men and women is 138 766 and 154 026.
In hospitals, 3 963 patients are hospitalized, of which 3 672 have confirmed disease. There are 299 patients on the ICU, 347 people need artificial lung ventilation support.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 72 cases. The total number of deaths per Covid is 6 577 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 1,334.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 1,973 949 and 292 792 were tested positive. Total number carried out Ag tests so far are 11 453 349, of which 259 886 were tested positive.
The total number of inactive cases is 333 977. These are individuals who have experienced COVID-19 disease, either with a clinical picture or without symptoms, and have passed a positive test for 2 to 4 weeks in outpatient patients and 6 weeks in hospital patients.
