From Monday 21 December 2020, all persons who have visited Great Britain in the last 14 days are subject to domestic isolation. It will no longer be possible to avoid its demonstration with negative RT-PCR results.

Every citizen coming from the United Kingdom must register on the web at the latest immediately upon entry into the Slovak Republic: https://korona.gov.sk/efrontier/ and, upon request, prove by confirming compliance with this obligation by the members of the Police Department of the Slovak Republic.

Person in isolation will be tested at COVID-19 at the earliest on the fifth day after registration on the web. If the test is negative, the isolation is over.

The conditions for entry from Great Britain into our territory are being made more precautionary in relation to the extension of the new SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus mutation identified in the South of Great Britain.

All laboratories in Slovakia that perform RT-PCR tests for COVID-19 can also capture this mutation of coronavirus. Slovakia coordinates its next steps with the V4 countries.
