In Slovakia in the past day, 1818 positive test people were added in the form of RT-PCR tests, the number of completed examinations was 9 836. It also added 635 positive antigen tests, which were carried out with 15 103.
The most positive test was in Prešov region (359), followed by Trenčín region (316), Žilinský (252), Košický (206), Nitriansky (185), Bratislava (173), Banskobystrický (170) and Trnavský (157). There are 850 men and 988 women among them.
In hospitals, 1,778 patients are hospitalized, of whom the confirmed disease has 1,501 people. There are 104 patients on the ICU, 133 people need artificial lung ventilation support.
An additional 2,121 patients were cured, with a total of 40,816 people recovering from the disease.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 35, with a total of 614.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 999 784, with 93 396 subjects tested positive.
