In Slovakia, 28 positive test people were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 17 positive antigen tests in the past day. Yesterday, 2,537 RT-PCR tests and 35 223 antigenic tests were completed.
The total number of persons vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 1,933 178 in the previous day plus 4,469 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 1,278,960 people, with 13,042 people vaccinated the past day.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Žilina region (9), followed by Košice region (7), Trenčiansky (5), Bratislava (3), Trnavský (3) and Prešovský (1). There are 11 men and 17 women among them. The total number of positive males tested is 186,840 and 204,485 women.
221 patients are hospitalized, 159 of whom have confirmed disease. There are 15 patients on the ICU, 20 people need artificial lung ventilation support.
The number of confirmed victims for pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 6 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 12,492 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,450.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 2919 944 with 391 325 subjects tested positive. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 36 663 557, of which 386 477 were tested positive.
The total number of inactive cases is 706 074. These are individuals who have experienced COVID-19 disease, either with a clinical picture or without symptoms, and have passed a positive test for 2 to 4 weeks in outpatient patients and 6 weeks in hospital patients. All the countries of the world have gone through huge numbers of positive cases and sick people to report inactive cases, as it is not really possible to detect the persistence of health problems in such a number of disabled people.
