Teachers who have been vaccinated with the first dose of AstraZeneca will receive a second vaccination date these days. The first vaccination of teachers took place mainly in hospitals, which are currently not going to vaccinate AstraZeneca, so teachers will be assigned a term in large-capacity vaccination centres in the same cities or in the nearest large-capacity vaccination centre. Large-capacity vaccination centres, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, have established self-governing regions. All teachers who are to receive a second dose of vaccine in the coming weeks are already transferred to the waiting room for the second dose of vaccine to large-capacity centres. Those who are to be vaccinated the next weekend will receive information on the allocation of the date and the vaccination site by text and email this week after opening the deadlines. In the coming days, about 16 thousand teachers will be vaccinated with the second dose. In view of the reduced volume of delivery of the vaccine from AstraZeneca, from the originally announced delivery of 40 800 vaccines this week, the Ministry can only count on a delivery of 12 thousand doses of AstraZeneca. Therefore, the resort adjusted the allocation for the counties according to the numbers waiting in the waiting room for the second dose in each region, thus ensuring a sufficient number of vaccinations for all teachers to receive the second dose.
