Other large-capacity vaccination centers in Nitra and Trenčín were launched today with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Eduaard Heger, in charge of the health department, and State Secretary of the Slovak Republic Jana Ježíková.
–From today we have established large-scale vaccination centers in every county town. We have now exceeded the limit of half a million people vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine. Each new vaccination centre is the hope of returning our quality of life to the pre-pandemic period," said Minister Heger. At the same time, I am very pleased that people over 55 can apply for vaccination from today on. added the Minister.
The large-capacity vaccination center in Nitra was opened today with the participation of Nitra countyman Milan Belica. Vaccination in this centre will take place mainly during weekends, and can be given daily to thousands of interested people.
Another large-capacity vaccination centre was added today in Trenčín, where health professionals have the capacity to vaccinate up to 2,000 people daily. The management of the Slovak Republic opened it today with the participation of Trenčín countyman Jaroslav Baška.
