In Slovakia, 2,287 people were added in the past day with a positive PCR test, of which more than 70% were not vaccinated. As far as antigen testing is concerned, 676 positive, over 65% of them have not yet been vaccinated. 9,682 RT-PCR tests and 7,418 antigen tests were completed yesterday.The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Žilina region (399) followed by the Bratislava region (395), Banská Bystrica (390), Prešovský (347), Trnavský (220), Trenčiansky (219), Košický (181) and Nitriansky (136). Among them are 1,045 men and 1,224 women. The total number of positive men tested is 232 356 and women 255 560.In hospitals, 1,430 patients are hospitalized, all of which have confirmed disease. Of those hospitalized, 79.38 percent are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. 136 patients are in ICU, 135 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 31 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13,076, and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,529. The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2,501 452 in the previous day. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 305 994 people, with 17 people vaccinated on the last day. The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 3,977,948, with 487,916 tested positive. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 39 137 828 of which 416 580 were tested positive. The total number of inactive cases is 747 958. These are individuals who have experienced COVID-19 disease, either with a clinical picture or without symptoms, and have passed a positive test for 2 to 4 weeks in outpatient patients and 6 weeks in hospital patients.
