In Slovakia, 14 new positive cases of COVID-19 occurred on Thursday, the number of positive cases tested increased to 1576. A total of 200 373 Coronavirus tests have been performed by laboratories on Wednesday.Four other patients recovered from the disease, 1447 were cured in total. The number of deaths in COVID-19 positive patients remains 28. Ten cases are from Banská Bystrica region, after one case added in Košice, Trnavský and Žilina region. Regional Public Health Office based in Rimavská Sobote has registered 10 confirmed cases of COVID-19, eight cases in Revúca district and two cases in Rimavská Sobota district for yesterday. Outbreaks are captured and anti-epidemic measures are secured. This is largely the case with imported and epidemiologically related cases from abroad. Contacts are identified in positive test subjects and in cases of close contacts their testing for COVID-19 disease is ordered. Domestic isolation is ordered in positive test subjects but also in close contacts. RIVZ based in Rimavská Sobota continuously informs the local government and the state administration about the overall situation.
