Patients in Slovakia have available treatment for COVID-19. The Ministry of Health continuously monitors the situation, responds to the recommendations and requests of major professionals or healthcare providers. The Ministry continues to order additional doses of medicines and supplements their stocks according to availability on the world drug market.What medicines we help COVID-19 in Slovakia to treat: Ivermectin(Official label: Ivermectin Tablet USP IverJohn 100x6 mg, Ivert 6 tbl 4x1x6 mg)On Friday, February 19, we expect the delivery of 9,000 pieces of Ivermectin. Part will be distributed to hospital pharmacies and part to public pharmacies. The medicine can only be obtained with a prescription. The Ministry ensured the delivery of this medicine as soon as possible, in which the distributor was able to provide it in view of the demand on the world market. Ministry of Health issued 8 February authorisation for the therapeutic use of the unregistered product Ivermectin Tablet USP IverJohn-6 tbl. 100x6 mg and Ivert 6 tbl 4x1x6 mg with the main indication prevention and treatment of COVID-19 disease. First authorisation for therapeutic use 5,000 packs of Ivermectin tablets IV-Bect 6 tabs 100x6mg was issued on 26 January. However, only 240 pieces have been imported into Slovakia, which have been removed to hospital pharmacies in less than two days. From the original January application to Ivermectin, further supplies of the medicinal product will be made after 22 February. Colchicine (Official designation: Colchicum-Dispert tbl obd 20x0.5 mg)Colchicum-Dispert was imported into Slovakia in 10,000 pieces, is available for pharmacies and is used to treat patients in the outpatient sphere and in hospitals. The medicine can be obtained with a prescription. Ministry of Health issued 2 February authorisation for therapeutic use of Colchicum-Dispert, tbl obd 20x0.5 mg for the early treatment of COVID-19. Isoprinosine100 x 500 mg and Isoprinosine tabl. 50 x 500 mg)Isoprinosine 1000 mg granules for oral solution are currently available as an adequate substitute for Isoprinosine tablet formulation. Isoprinosine syrup is also available. Next week 27 000 pieces will be delivered to Slovakia. The medicine is for immunity and can be obtained with a prescription. Inomed(Official marking: INOMED 500 mg tbl (blis. PVC/PVDC/Al)12 000 pieces have already been imported to Slovakia, which were subsequently distributed to pharmacies.

A total of 20,000 pieces of medicine will arrive in Slovakia at the nearest import. This medicine is intended to improve immunity and can be obtained with a prescription.Dexamethasone (Official designation: Dexamethhasone inj.
