In Slovakia, 3,045 positive test people were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 3 454 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 20.41% of the 14,921 positive RT-PCR examinations completed and 6.78% of the 50,948 antigen tests carried out yesterday.
The most positive test was in Prešov region (466), followed by Trenčín region (461), Košický (455), Banská Bystrica (379), Nitriansky (357), Žilinský (333), Trnavský (112) and Bratislava (282). Among them are 1 435 men and 1 610 women.
In hospitals, 2,355 patients are hospitalized, of whom 2,149 have confirmed disease. For ICU there are 131 patients, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 147 people.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 69 cases. The total is 1,378.
A total of 102 737 people recovered from the disease.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 1,216,501, with 142,133 subjects tested positive. Total number carried out Ag tests so far are 1,050 280, of which 46 799 were tested positive.
