In Slovakia, 1 326 positive test people were added in the form of RT-PCR tests in the past day, 7 837 tests were completed.
The most positive test was in the Trenčín region (245), followed by Žilina region (227), Prešovský (226), Trnavský (187), Nitriansky (139), Košický (114), Banskobystrický (106) and Bratislava (82). There are 595 men and 731 women among them.
In hospitals, 1,829 patients are hospitalized, of which 1,546 have confirmed disease. There are 100 patients for ICU, support for artificial pulmonary ventilation needs 116 people.
Confirmed deaths from lung form COVID-19 increased to 557. 31 other cases were notified.
The total number of completed laboratory PCR tests has so far been 976 202 in Slovakia, with 88 602 people tested positive.
