In Slovakia, in the past day, 1,735 people were added with a positive PCR test, of which more than 71 percent were not vaccinated. As regards antigen testing, 276 positives have been added, more than 76% have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday, 8 996 RT-PCR and 8 678 antigenic tests were completed.
The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2 480 397 in the previous day plus 428 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2,281,858 people; 303 have been vaccinated on the past day.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (561), followed by Košický (312), Žilinský (273), Bratislava (185), Banskobystrický (162), Trnavský (129), Trenčiansky (76) and Nitriansky (37). There are 831 men and 904 women. The total number of positive males tested is 208 556 and women 228 829.
In hospitals, 963 patients are hospitalized, 889 people have confirmed disease. Of those hospitalised, 81,89% of people are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 101 patients for ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 104 people. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 13 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 12,846, and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,508. The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 3,766 891 with 437 385 subjects tested positive. Total number carried out Ag tests so far are 38 727 683 of which 399 369 were tested positive. The total number of inactive cases is 733 576. These are individuals who have experienced COVID-19 disease, either with a clinical picture or without symptoms, and have passed a positive test for 2 to 4 weeks in outpatient patients and 6 weeks in hospital patients.
